Or perhaps that should be dollars, as one of the largest collections of cookie jars and pottery items will be up at auction in November. I'm not sure if I will be doing any bidding, but I am excited about this auction. There hasn't been an auction of this magnitude in years -- in terms of quality of the jars, sheer numbers and rarity of the pieces Wendy Johnston has collected and amassed.
UPDATE:Because of the recent theft discovery, the auction has been postponed until January 2006.
