Rosa Parks was born 100 years ago today in Tuskegee, Alabama. We all know her role in fight against segregation, which made her hero of women and civil rights activists for the rest of her life. One particular admirer and good friend, Roger Lewis talked to her about making her likeness into a cookie jar. She was delighted and the jar was soon commissioned to be made byThe Little Company.. The jars were limited in production and quite hard to find today.
