If you're a Auction Hunters fan, mark this Wednesday down on your calendar!

Auction Hunters is moving to a new day and to kick it off, the first episode is a live special. You not only will see an unscripted version of the show, but you can even have a chance to win a special giveaway by being part of an interactive audience.

Are they excited about it? You bet they are, I chatted with them a few days before the show and actually not sure if they real excited or real worried about just what they might find or more scary, what they might not find.

From SpikeTV:
During the live Auction Hunters special this Wednesday at 9/8c, viewers can tweet in for a chance to win real Auction Hunters loot. While Ton and Allen are digging through their newly-purchased storage units, trying to find a profit, host Mike Catherwood will prompt viewers to tweet in to enter for our designated giveaway item. Twice throughout the show, viewers can enter to win by tweeting using hashtag #AuctionHunters and naming the item they want to win. We will randomly select two winners and notify them they've been chosen via direct message. They must be following @Spike_TV in order to qualify to win. They will have 3 minutes to reply to our DM with their name, age and email address. If they do so within the timeframe, we will let them know they've won via Twitter. Mike will call out their personal handles as our giveaway winners towards the end of the show.

Note:
ALL proceeds earned during the special by Allen and Ton will go to the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America). IAVA is the country's first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Watched the program don’t think I care for the “live” part of it but this program is my all time favorite, other programs about the same type of thing are poor copies. I love the way Allen and Ton interact with each other.

Kelly, I agree with you. It was too staged and was way too forced.
