Online vs Stores— Where are You Buying?

We've all heard that local stores are suffering because of online sales, but it's hard to resist buying online when it comes in a few days, can be delivered direct to the recipient and can be done anytime we're in the mood. Over the past few years I've done the majority of our Christmas gift shopping online, this year it appears to have swung back to traditional shopping.

Of course the shopping season is still in full swing, but how is your shopping going? Have you been buying gifts online or in local stores?

Some online but I do like shopping in stores better to be able to see what I’m buying (being able to touch and see). And I like shopping at unusual, different stores instead of just the same old Mall stores.

I do not shop on line nor do I go out of my way to do the conventional “christmas shopping” in overcrowded, over priced malls or department stores. Those I buy for all know of my passion for collecting and auctions so they realize they will be receiving something very personal and unique that I have picked up at a summertime estate or farm/rural auction.
