The Kovels Komments email newsletter yesterday reported that Collector Books, a branch of Schroeder's Publishing will be no more. I have quite a few books and they were always well done, so it's a little sad to see them go. There are still a few other publishing companies that publish books for collectors, but they've certainly slowed down their production. A sign of the times.

So sad to hear. Many antique dealers, consignment shops, and eBay consignment sellers depend on their reference library.

I sent a note to Collector Books and they claim they are not shutting down. Do you know when this is going to occur? They are not running sales and have new publications for regular price. I want to keep an eye open in case they rune sales on their inventory.
