Happy Anniversary to Gasoline Alley!

This post might be a bit off topic, but not to comic lovers and collectors. It was 90, yes NINETY years ago when Gasoline Alley made it's debut. I wasn't around on November 24, 1918, but I'll admit to reading the comic strip for many of those years. These days I read the limited number of strips in the local newspaper and then click on two web sites to see the comics that are no longer being published locally. It was a very sad day when the Daily Disappointment (as it is known to locals) did away with numerous classic strips, including Gasoline Alley. But I can still get my daily dose by going to: Gocomics.com.
