Wall-E Release

Monday November 17, 2008
Tuesday is the day Wall-E fans have been waiting for. Why? The DVD is being released and like the good grandmother I am, I'll be picking up a copy for grandson. But the big question is -- where to buy it? Should I get it at Best Buy and get a Rubik's style cube of Wall-E or at Target and get a coupon for a free tree seedling?

On a related Wall-E note, I've been noticing more Wall-E toys are showing up in the stores in time for the release and the holiday season. This time (unlike when the movie was released) toys are even showing up in Wal-Mart.

I just purchased my Wall-e DVD at Target and the web address on the coupon where you order your free tree which won’t arrive for 6-8 weeks… doesn’t even exist. I have a call in to Target customer service. What a scam!! I should have gone to Best Buy like I always do!!

Got ours, it’s a Black Hills Spruce. I’ve read other people got other kinds (probably custom chosen for each recipient’s climate zone, if they have half a care). Came with a slip of paper, just explains planting/watering for that species.
