Yikes! I'll admit I was a bit dismayed to see a promotion in a recent Tuesday Morning Co flyer.

Advertised as authentic reproductions, the ad also mentioned that originals sell for hundreds of dollars. These pieces will not fool anyone who has done the slightest research or knows even a little about pottery, but I imagine it won't take long before these start showing up at the flea markets as the real thing.

It is just sad that Americans are allowing more and more of their Heritage and History to just vanish ….
Have to agree with you on this, but it’s not going to change anytime soon. UNLESS all these toy and food recalls make some manufacturers wake up.
