They're not fooling around with this auction, no two-bit bids. Step up and show what kind of a collector you really are!

From the auction: "From the 1985 Air Jordan I that was banned by the league to the revolutionary new 2006 Air Jordan XXI, every pair is autographed by Michael Jordan himself. In addition, the package also includes a stunning custom-built display case. A Certificate of Authenticity, signed by an official Upper Deck Authentics representative, will accompany the shoes."

Opening bid was $425,000, two bids were received and the winning bid was $425,100. So that averages out to $20,242. (roughly!) per pair of shoes. Uh, don't wear them out in the rain!

I love basketball! And Michael Jordan is the master! So shoes signed by the legand, are amazing! That’s why they cost so much!

Someone must think they are going to be valuable judging by the near riots just to buy a pair.
