Huntley Palmers Tin

Tuesday May 4, 2004
After receiving notice of being fired, a disgruntled employee decided to finish up his work with a vengence against Huntley & Palmers. Several unusual events are taking place in the otherwise placid English garden setting picture he was painting for a biscuit tin. Oh my, naked lovers in the flower bed, dogs "cavorting" in another flower bed.

All this caused the tin to sell for one of the highest prices I've ever seen paid for a contemporary tin! . . What was paid?
